"Why should I rush for Alpha Kappa Psi?"
A professional fraternity such as Alpha Kappa Psi offers an ideal balance of professionalism and social interaction. Although a business fraternity is a great way to develop professional skills, ultimately the strength of the fraternity lies in the individual brothers and the unique lifelong friendships they develop.
"What kind of activities does Alpha Kappa Psi take part in?"
We hold various activities that help build you as an individual. For example, we hold networking events where firms come and introduce their company to our organization. Another example is resume building where we evaluate every aspect of your resume. In addition, there are plenty of leadership opportunities. We emphasize professionalism, brotherhood, and community service and we center our events through those values.
"What is pledging?"
Pledging is a program designed to model the challenges of the corporate workplace. As such, the program is intense, but it seeks to impart invaluable experience.
"My GPA is close, but not quite 2.75... could I still apply?"
No. 2.75 is our minimum GPA requirement.
"I want to join Alpha Kappa Psi, but I'm graduating this year... Am I eligible to still join?"
No. You must be able to put in 2 quarters as an active.
